Titik at Tunog (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a web-based educational app for learning Tagalog phonics — letters (Titik), syllables (Pantig), and words (Salita). The app is operated by Soullab Information Technology Solutions, a DTI-registered sole proprietorship in the Philippines. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information (via Google Sign-In). The app signs you in only through Google. When you sign in, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from Google. We never see or store your Google password.
Subscription and payment information. If you buy a Premium Pass, your payment is processed by our payment provider, PayMongo, using GCash, Maya, or QRPh. We do not collect or store your card or e-wallet credentials. We keep a record of your purchase and your Premium Pass expiry date.
Usage information. We collect basic information about how you use the app — such as the learning categories you open and your progress — to provide and improve the learning experience.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Sign you in and keep you signed in to your account.
Unlock your Premium Pass and track its expiry date.
Send you occasional service emails, such as a reminder before your Premium Pass expires.
Maintain, secure, and improve the app and develop new features.

We do not show advertisements in the app, and we do not sell your personal information.

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to run the app. These providers process data on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy:

Google — sign-in and authentication.
Supabase — account, subscription, and usage data storage.
PayMongo — payment processing (GCash, Maya, QRPh).
Resend — sending service emails (such as renewal reminders).
Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.

Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, as needed to operate the app, or when required by law.

Data Retention

We keep your account and related information for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time (see Contact Us).

Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to its processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children’s Privacy

The app is designed for learning Tagalog phonics and is intended to be used by children under the guidance of a parent, guardian, or teacher. Accounts are created through Google Sign-In, which has its own minimum age requirements. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from children than is needed to provide the app. If you believe a child has provided us information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
