These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Titik at Tunog web app and website (together, “the Service”). The Service is operated by Soullab Information Technology Solutions, a sole proprietorship registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) of the Philippines (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Titik at Tunog is an educational web app that helps children and beginners learn to read Tagalog through phonics — letters (Titik), syllables (Pantig), and words (Salita) — with audio. The Service is intended for educational use, ideally with the guidance of a parent, guardian, or teacher.

2. Your Account

You sign in to the Service using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Accounts for children should be created and supervised by a parent, guardian, or teacher. You must provide accurate information and comply with Google’s own terms and minimum age requirements.

Because a Premium Pass grants immediate digital access and does not auto-renew, there is nothing to “cancel.” Refund requests are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The Service and all of its content — including audio, images, text, design, and software — are owned by Soullab Information Technology Solutions or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own learning. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on trusted third parties, including Google (authentication), Supabase (data storage), PayMongo (payments), Resend (email), and Cloudflare (hosting). Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers’ terms. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for educational purposes. While we work to keep it accurate and available, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soullab Information Technology Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
